The Kalmus flower was brought to Gudenåen in Randers by French monks in the Middle Ages, and was used in the local tanning process. It has a very charming aroma with a hinge of citrus and cinnamon. As a homage to the heritage, the kalmus flower's graphical shape is now adorning all RHANDERS products.
