By strong demand from caring parents, we have created protective mittens for children in our atelier in Denmark.
The mittens are based on our traditional pattern, which has been tested and perfected over more than 70 years, and they are made in softshell fabric with a backside of the softest fleece. Meaning, the mittens are super practical and will protect your child from both wind, rain and bacteria when they are on the playground.

How to determine my glove size?
As per gloving traditions, your size is determined by French inches.
You find your size by measuring the circumference around your palm at its widest point (without the thumb).
If you measure in centimeters, you can simply divide the number by 2,7 to get your personal glove size in French inches.

Glove sizes come in half and full sizes – between size 6 and 8½ for women and size 7 and 11 for men.
Your gloves should be tight at first, as they will stretch to your personal shape as they are worn in – just like a good pair of jeans.
When looking for mittens, you should go for one size larger than you would normally choose, as you will experience the ultimate warmth and comfort for your hands.
