DESCRIPTION
The Alexandrine gloves in butter cream coloured deer leather are as rare as a treasure can be. Queen Alexandrine was the wife of King Christian X, whom owned the royal deer hard during the 1930's. During this time, RHANDERS were entrusted with crafting gloves and accessories from the precious leather for the royal household. 

Some of the leather was hidden and kept for a special occasion. In 2023, it was rediscovered and transformed into gloves and accessories, crafted according to traditional craftsmanship principles of glove-making at our atelier in Randers, Denmark.

These gloves are made to be worn - but they might as well also be treated as a piece of art and cultural legacy. Discover the full story here.

The Royal Deer products are released as limited editions - once a year, for three years. The first pieces from the collection were symbolically gifted to Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark.
