RHANDERS: DANISH DESIGN SINCE 1684
Discover the extraordinary story of RHANDERS and 800 years of glovemaking heritage, told by acclaimed Danish author Hanne Sindbæk.

Following seven years of extensive research, Hanne Sindbæk brings the story to life: from the earliest traces of calamus in Randers around 1250 to generations of glove makers, royal hands, French finesse, and the people and events that have shaped RHANDERS through the centuries.

The literary narrative is richly illustrated by acclaimed illustrator and long-time RHANDERS collaborator Mette Boesgaard, whose distinctive style adds a poetic and artistic layer to the story.

The book features a foreword by Danish author and cultural critic Anne Sophia Hermansen and an introduction by Mark Dunhill, former President of Alfred Dunhill and CEO of Fabergé. In the afterword, RHANDERS owner and CEO Rina Hansen reflects on what it means to be entrusted with centuries of heritage — and the responsibility of carrying it forward.

A vivid story of craftsmanship, people, ambition and cultural heritage — and of how a glove can carry almost 800 years of history.
