Belt guide

Begin a journey to find your perfect belt match.

Let this guide inspire you to find the right size and style.

Unsure of your belt size?

We recommend that you measure your belt size by one of the following approaches.

MEASURE YOUR WAIST

... or where you would like to use your belt.

Use a tape measure over your clothes. Try wearing your favourite pair of jeans or pants and measure through the belt loops. If you wish to wear the belt over a dress, measure where you would usually wear the belt.

The measurement in centimetres is your belt size - we recommend that you round up to the nearest size.

MEASURE YOUR FAVOURITE BELT

If you have trouble measuring yourself or if you have a belt with the right fit, you use this as a reference.

Stretch out your belt and measure from the edge of the belt strap, where the buckle is attatched, to the most used belt hole.

Our belt sizes are determined by the length in centimeters from the beginning of the belt to the middle hole.

There are many ways to style a belt. Finding the perfect fit is not an exact science and depends on the belt and personal preferences.

about our belts

Our belts have 5-6 evenly spaced holes over approximately 10 centimeters for adjustability.

We make belts for men and for women as well as unisex styles.

All our belts are made in Denmark.

Buckles

All RHANDERS belt buckles are unique and custom-made by hand.

Gold buckles are plated with 14K gold.

Silver buckles are plated with 925 sterling silver.

Hematite buckles are made of a metal alloy that pocess the colour of the hematite blood stone.

As such, all belt buckles are a natural continuation of our jewellery collection. Actually, we view belts just as much as an aesthetic bejeweling of your waist as a functional item to hold together your outfit.

FUNCTIONAL BELTS

Our functional belts are made to go through the loops of your trousers and hold your trousers securely in place.

Functional belts are sturdy, durable and can take a lot of pressure and weight. They are normally made of 3,8mm thick top quality leather and can be buckled and unbuckled numerous times a day.

EXAMPLES OF OUR FUNCTIONAL BELTS:

BUCKINGHAM BELT: GOLD / HEMATITE
BUCKINGHAM GRAND BELT: GOLD / HEMATITE
OBSIDIAN BELT: MEN / WOMEN
OBSIDIAN GRAND BELT: MEN / WOMEN
OBSIDIAN BRAIDED BELT: MEN / WOMEN
BASIL BELT: MEN

DECORATIVE BELTS

Our decorative belts are designed as an aesthetic styling punctuation to your outfit. The decorative belts are more delicate than the functional belts and can be worn on the waist on either a dress or to finish off an outfit.

The buckles are plated with precious materials and should not be buckled and unbuckled in infinity. The leather is not as thick as functional belts.

How do I best care for my leather belt?

Cherish your belt for years with the right care. Your RHANDERS belt is made from the finest and most exquisite Italian leather. The leather is expertly vegetably tanned with only natural materials at a longstanding certified Italian tannery. Meaning the belt is naturally very strong and has the natural healing properties of genuine leather – and will develop a beautiful patina over the years.

If the leather gets dirty, wipe carefully with a damp cloth. A good quality leather balm can be applied, but is not necessary in normal use due to the superior quality leather.

To best care for your belt, do not place the belt in direct sunlight or artificial light, be careful not to make it wet, and do not distort it or apply anything directly on the leather.
