CARE & REPAIR

CARE & REPAIR information

Learn how to care for your RHANDERS products and preserve their beauty for generations. Rooted in craftsmanship, our glove experts share their knowledge on care, maintenance, and repair to help your RHANDERS items age beautifully over time.

GLOVES

Does my RHANDERS glove need treatment?

No, your gloves does not need treatment. We recommend using only a dry cotton cloth to gently polish it.

At RHANDERS, we use the finest quality full aniline leather, which does not require sprays, creams, or grease. In fact, applying products to the surface may damage the leather.

How should I store my gloves?

We recommend storing your gloves flat, away from light or heat. Our products have a high degree of light-fastness, as with all natural material, the leather may fade when exposed to direct sunlight or artificial light. For optimal care, use the RHANDERS glove box for storage.

Can I get my RHANDERS gloves repaired?

At RHANDERS, we believe in repairing rather than replacing. As part of the natural aging process, seams may come undone over time, as thread has a shorter lifespan than leather. We offer to repair your broken seams to give your gloves a new life.

You can read more about the process here.

Can I get new lining for my gloves?

Yes, the lining of your RHANDERS gloves can be replaced. We believe in repairing instead of replacing and therefore, we offer to replace your lining to give your gloves a new life. You may choose to do it yourself or rely on our glove expert service.

Read more about replacing your lining here.

BELTS

How do I take best care of my RHANDERS leather belt?

To best care for your leather belt, we recommend avoiding exposure to direct sunlight or strong artificial light. Also, take care to keep it dry.

Refrain from applying products directly on the leather, and do not distort its natural shape. In order to keep the belts natural shape, we recommend storing your belt in our RHANDERS belt box when not in use.

If the leather becomes dirty, clean it gently with a damp cloth. A high-quality leather balm may be applied, though not necessary with regular use due to the exceptional quality of the leather.
